Charity cycle. Defeating Ovarian Cancer. In Memory of Annabel Lintott.
Saturday 2nd October 2021
Annabel joined us when we had just one shop at Wimbledon and quickly became a much loved and integral member of the Bayley & Sage team who cared deeply about our mission to champion quality food and drink. She headed up marketing and mail order and was the voice of Bayley & Sage. She left us for a few years to raise her children and re-joined us in 2016, just as we had opened Fulham and were gearing up to expand. She had a lifelong passion for food, was a trained cordon bleu chef and enjoyed nothing better than introducing her children to new flavours and food experiences. She set the tone for how we communicate with our customers and the external world. She established the standard for our brand throughout so many avenues. Our web page, point of sale, newsletters, social media, opening leaflets, all marketing materials – the store postcards, About us, cheese leaflets, the Bugle, our grey bags. She guided our promotions and was passionate about our own branded goods.
Annabel dealt with her illness in the same manner, with great determination and immense dignity. She was an inspiration and will be greatly missed as a woman, a friend and a significant member of the Bayley and Sage team.
