What’s new?
Metfield Bakery Organic Bread
We’ve been selling ex-Roux chef Stuart Oetzmann’s delicious pies for over eight years now, and are delighted that we are now selling his range of Organic Breads.
All the bread is made by hand at Stuart’s bakery in Norfolk. As well as some really special sourdoughs, wholemeal and rye loaves, Stuart is making some gluten-free breads for us. Pop in and see the new range.
Possums Two in the Pouch
We’ve recently added a couple of new wines to our list from the Possums Vineyards in McLaren Vale, Australia.
The white is a blend of Chardonnay & Viognier grown in the higher vineyards which get some good rainfall and cooler growing conditions. A lovely easy drinking wine with pear and citrus flavours that goes well with chicken or fish dishes.
The Shiraz and Cabernet blend is a smooth and luscious wine which delivers some lovely plum aromas. The fruity Cabernet and spicy Shiraz is a great combination. A terrific wine for the price and great for a winter evening in front of the fire with a good book!
Gustosecco Rice Puddings
We always on the look out for something new and interesting, so when we saw these products at a trade show last year they caught our imagination. Made using really good natural ingredients they’re really simple to make, just adding milk to the pudding mix and bake.
Varieties include Seville Orange, Chocolate and Lavender. A delicious, simple and warming product for dreary winter days.
Rainha Santa Marmalades
Not really a new product, but our old friend Tim Clements is has come back from Portugal with a van load of his superb marmalade from Estremoz in Portugal. Each batch is hand made using only freshly picked fruit and sugar, plus a few lemons to help with the setting.
We don’t care what Delia says, home made marmalade isn’t as good as this one you can buy from the shops!
