Events & Tastings

Some of the products we will be tasting this month include:

Zest & Zing: punchy spices that come in perfectly sized, refillable Italian glass so that the blends can be enjoyed at the peak of their freshness. Spices and herbs left in the cupboard for months can lose their aroma and impact. These freshly ground spices and expertly blended seasonings will help you compose a delicious, aromatic meal that will impress your family and friends. The depth of flavour will be complex, but the cooking won’t be.

Frill: Introducing a new range of dairy & gluten free alternative to ice cream. All flavours are made with the freshest fruit and vegetables, frozen at peak quality.

Pops: Fruit cocktail lollipops that are fun, colourful and made with all natural ingredients.

Franci Bio Olive Oil: This delicious organic Tuscan olive oil  tastes of grass, artichoke and ripe fruits, with an initial sweetness followed by a harmonious bitter and spicy aftertaste. Perfect in salad dressings, drizzled over burrata, tomatoes and basil, or mix with pesto and toss with Mediterranean roast vegetables.

Natural Sahli Olives: These tiny, dark violet coloured organic olives, native to Tunisia are hand-picked, and soaked in natural brine for nine months. Their flavour is rich, buttery and lightly salty. A wonderful table olive that is perfect for charcuterie boards.

Meski Olives with Harissa:A plump green olive with a meaty flesh from Tunisia. Once the olives are cured for nine months, they are soaked in organic olive oil and aromatic  spicy harissa. Serve with your  favourite summer apéritif.

Baron Bigod Farmhouse Cheese: A creamy, white bloomy-rind cheese handmade on the farm by Jonny and the team, from raw Montbeliarde cows milk. It has a smooth silky texture and a golden curd, with long lasting warm earth, farmyard and mushroom flavours. The U.K.’s only raw milk farmhouse brie.

Pecorino Moliterno Tartufo: Rich, savoury tasting goats and sheep’s cheese, from Sardinia, that gets sharper as it ages. Its paste is ivory-white with deep veins of tblack ruffle. Intensely earthy with a pungent after taste.

Asiago: The taste is mild and persistent. Buttery and smooth, a good everyday cheese, perfect with sliced ham, sliced tomato and fresh bread. Fresh Asiago is a cheese with a young flavour with a fresh milk taste melting in the mouth to release sweet and slightly sour notes.
